This Privacy Policy explains how EGC Grading ("EGC," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit our website, create an account, or use our card grading and authentication services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Cookies and similar technologies: as described in Section 5 below.
Website infrastructure data: our website is built and hosted using Framer (framer.com). Framer, as our hosting provider, may automatically collect and process certain technical data (such as IP address, device type, and basic usage metrics) as part of delivering and operating the website. This processing is governed by Framer's own privacy practices in addition to this Policy. You can review Framer's privacy policy at framer.com/legal/privacy for more detail on their role.
1.3 Information from Third Parties.
Information from payment processors confirming successful or failed transactions.
Information from shipping carriers confirming delivery status and tracking events.

2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
Create and manage your account.
Process, track, and fulfill your grading submissions and orders.
Communicate with you about your orders, account, and customer support requests.
Verify card population data and maintain our public grade-verification database using the serial number, grade, and card identification information associated with a submission (not your personal account information).
Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, counterfeiting, and abuse of the Services.
Improve, maintain, and secure our website and Services.
Send you marketing communications, where permitted, which you may opt out of at any time.
Comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information as follows:
Service providers: third parties that perform functions on our behalf, such as payment processing, shipping and logistics, cloud hosting, customer support tooling, and analytics. These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.
Legal and safety reasons: where we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect the rights, property, or safety of EGC, our customers, or the public, or to detect and prevent fraud or counterfeit activity.
Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
With your consent: for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time information is collected, or with your consent.
4. Public Grade-Verification Database
EGC maintains a public database allowing anyone to look up a graded card's certification number to view its assigned grade, sub-grades, and card details. This database displays card-level information tied to a certification number and does not display your name, account information, or contact details.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate our website, remember your preferences, analyze site traffic, and, where applicable, support advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Services. Where required by law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies.
We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as no common industry standard for such signals has been adopted.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Submission and grading records tied to a certification number may be retained indefinitely to preserve the integrity of our public grade-verification database and population reports, even after an account is closed.
7. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you provide information to us at your own risk. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any applicable regulators as required by applicable law.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to:
Know what personal information we have collected about you.
Request access to or a copy of your personal information.
Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (for example, information we are required to retain for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes, or to preserve the integrity of our public grade-verification database).
Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, to the extent applicable. EGC does not sell personal information for monetary consideration and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in a manner that would require an opt-out under applicable law, other than through standard analytics and advertising cookies described in Section 5.
Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification.
9. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to individuals under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services, including payment processors and shipping carriers. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with information.
11. International Users
Our Services are hosted and operated in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country of residence. By using the Services, you consent to this transfer.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on our website, and the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
By using our services, you acknowledge you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
